Giardia: Case Study

Giardia is a microscopic, anaerobic flagellated protozoan parasite that causes the diarrheal disease, giardiasis.

Patient Data: A 34-year-old female presented to her naturopathic doctor with symptoms of gastrointestinal distress, and a prior diagnosis of giardiasis.

Protocol: Patient was put on a 3-month protocol of Biocidin® Liquid (5 drops TID) and Biotonic™ Daily Adaptogenic Elixir (10 drops BID) for three months. The patient did not follow through with retesting until an additional 2.5 months post-protocol.

Outcome: At 2.5 months post-protocol the patient had cleared the parasite and her symptoms had resolved.
