Acute Tick-Borne Illness 5 Year Old: Case Study

Patient Data: A 5-year-old male, living in Minnesota (a Lyme-endemic area), presented with low-grade fever and lethargy for 3 days. The mother then found a small nymph-stage tick embedded in the back of her son’s knee.

Protocol: The patient's mother  administered Biocidin® Liquid orally, which resulted in resolution of the fever within 12 hours. The patient then started the Biocidin® LSF for 4 weeks.

Outcome: The patient’s symptoms never returned after the protocol was completed.
